Fusion Linux 14.1 “Thorium” is officially out.
This release has been in the making for few months, and it is mostly an update to out initial release. Biggest new feature is LibreOffice instead of OpenOffice and two biggest bugs squashed. One bug prevented Firefox 4.0 from starting while using it as LiveUSB or LiveDVD and other bug was a dependency issue that prevented updates from being downloaded. We hoped with this release to make all desktop components more stable and put an overall desktop polish.
We hope that you will like this release as much as we enjoyed making it.

Can I upgrade from Fusion 14 to 14.1 without a reinstall? ( I hope )
If so, how?
Yes you can. Join our forums and ask there.
You say this is 100% compatible with Fedora, but you replaced OpenOffice with LibreOffice. How will this work? Are you going to provide consistent updates for LibreOffice? Did you rebuild all the dependencies?
It is, and if don’t believe try for yourself and send us a review or bug reports. We welcome any constructive criticism.
You can even have both OpenOffice and LibreOffice installed. Check our forums for details.
Nice, I didn’t even know that this existed. I’ll be testing you out later today and will post some impressions later in the week.

Is Fusion 14 and/or 14.1 in 64bit form? I really like the UI layout and was wondering if it comes in 64 bit for my new ASUS laptop. I love reading about all the stock programs. I would like to utilize 16beta, but I would like a nice running, already tested vs 14. Thanks.
Just install latest Fedora 17 and read instructions on our mailing list how to convert it to Fusion 17, there is an easy script that does everything automatically.
Cheers,
Valent.
